Is Maine Safe?

I’m sitting in the park today, another fantastic day. Reading through the stack of emails and newsletter subscriptions I came across an article regarding a Muslim attempt to attack Fort Dix in New Jersey. Apparently a video store clerk tipped off the authorities before anything happened. There are a lot of people who are protesting against the war in Iraq. I tend to wonder that if we were not in Iraq fighting extremist elements, would we be fighting here in the US against the same people?

There are Military installations all over the United States, and there are growing populations of the Islamic faith. I understand that they are coming here to avoid the persecution in their former countries. Are all of them here for that reason? How many Muslims are here waiting for the day that they can rise up and destroy us?

Here in Maine we have the Brunswick Naval Air Station. Within and easy drive away are growing populations of Muslims in Lewiston and in Portland. Rumor has it that some of them are sitting on trunk loads of RPGs and automatic weapons. With any luck they are too cowardly to make an outright attack on the base. If they follow their cowardly leaders in Iraq, they will most likely attack the civilian population first. Is the Maine Mall ready for just such an attack?

The anti-gun liberals keep taking rights away from people and leaving the individual less and less protected. It is nearly impossible to defend yourself against an overwhelming force that possesses superior firepower. In this round of elections coming up I intend to do everything I can to make sure that people who love freedom get elected to power, and those who prefer to live under Socialist domination are removed. In the coming weeks I will be researching and presenting my findings on who I feel are the ones that should be removed from office, and those who should be elected into office.

We need fewer laws on the books. And we need to enforce those laws which protect the public and not special interest groups.

See you tomorrow, until then, keep the Faith.
