Huckabee’s Rolling Along, Like A Steamroller!

“WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee completed a meteoric rise by defeating former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the Republican Iowa caucus on Thursday night, according to early projections by CNN, MSNBC and Fox News Channel.”

Romney’s negative ad campaign seems to have been a blunder, by my way of looking at it. With Huckabee underfunded, and coming from a seemingly hopeless position, he has surpassed the pack and leads with a ten point margin. My guess is that Americans have had about enough of the politics as usual game and are ready for a fresh new start.

Huckabee is a man who stands on his principals. His beliefs. He’s not afraid to tell people he is a Christian, and in fact is quite proud of his beliefs. Too many politicians waffle and wobble their way throughout the game, bowing to whichever special interest group has the largest attendance at any gathering they are at. Not so with Mike. He tells it like he sees it, whether you like it or not. I believe we need to get back to that era where right makes might, not might makes right.

The night is not over as I write this, but I’m planning on Mr. Huckabee being in New Hampshire for the primary, and on his being nominated when all is said and done, and then on to the White House.
