Turncoats from Maine

Yep! It’s official. Maine Senators Susan Collins (makes me want to cry) and Olympia Snowe (no surprise there) signaled their intention to become full fledge Democrats by supporting the Great B.O.’s One World Government incentive the press calls the ‘Economic Stimulus Package.’ Say goodnight to your retirement fund Gracie!

At a projected real cost in excess of1.5 trillion dollars, this bill will weigh heavily upon our tax broken backs for decades to come. But do these elected representatives care? Not one bit, apparently. It is high time we conservatives start to take back control of the Federal government by not re-electing these two for another term in Washington. Instead of returning them to office, we need to replace them with true leaders who will strive to bring America back into the direction of being the world’s strongest nation.

Increasing our tax burden, and returning us to a place we have fought long and hard to escape from will be the end result of this package, led by Obama’s desire to be some sort of miscreant savior of the people. Perhaps one religious commentator was correct, and the Great B.O. is actually the voice of the Beast, lulling the world into a false sense of security and prosperity before the coming battle of Armageddon.

How did the voting go? Just like this—– 61 votes in favor, 37 against. The number of “ayes” matches previous procedural votes, where all 58 Democrats supported the plan and three Republicans — senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine, and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania — crossed party lines to support the package….. according to USA Today.

So, three elected representatives crossed the yellow line of politics and sided with the Leftist Agenda. Not a smart move Ladies. And gent, if you want to call Arlen Specter a gentleman. But either way, this monstrosity of legislation will be haunting this nation for a long time to come, if we last long enough to have a future as a nation after the current administration.

The next step towards final approval is for the Senate and House to cozy up and agree upon a final language for the bill. But the damage is already done. We now know we cannot trust either of Maine’s elected representatives to do what is best for the future of Maine.

The story will continue………………
