Hurricane Bill and the National Guard

As we inch closer and closer to the end of times, and I’m not talking about the bogus 2012 claim here, but the Second Coming of Christ, I see more and more of the Old and New Testament prophecies coming to light, and falling into place. I seem to be stuck on one passage in particular, that of Revelation chapter 17. It occurred to me that quite possibly we are being led astray by many “preachers,” as they are want to be called in regards to prophecy. Perhaps purposely by the Holy Spirit so as to make Gods will occur as it suits His desire, or perhaps by Satan, so as to confuse as many people as possible. I’m guessing Satan doesn’t like the idea of going it alone, in spite of all the braggadocio that got him to where he is today.

But I don’t feel led to express my feelings here on that issue, so I won’t, but I do want to comment upon a couple of recent articles, and how they relate to the growing governmental control over us regarding Rev. 17:17; For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill his purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the Beast, until the Words of God are fulfilled. I think one of the possible errors of the ages is the idea that the Roman Catholic Church has been portrayed by many protestant writers and speakers as being the Anti-Christ, and that the Pope will rule the one world government. It makes for a good read, but I’m not sure as I accept this position.

For one thing, the scriptures speak of the spiritual world and the physical world, but are not always clear on the issue. Some translators over the years have made statements that one verse says this and another says that, but as the translations change, so doesn’t our interpretation of these scriptures because some words have changed meaning so much over the centuries. And in some cases we have actually changed the meaning of the Word of God, thus changing our relationship with God. Take the trend over the last few years for more and more denominations to accept the homosexual lifestyle, and some have even ordained gay persons as ministers. Woe to thee, Chorazin! Or whatever you like to be called today. Lutheran seems to come to mind here.

But the idea of a king, or in our case president, giving this nation to the Beast presents many problems, not the least of which is the fact that there are so many true Christians living in this nation. We’d almost have to be rounded up and exterminated for that to happen. And who knows, maybe it will. At any rate, one of the key components of giving an entire kingdom over to anyone requires complete control of the king over his subjects. Enter the National Guard here, stage left. And on the right comes Hurricane Bill charging up the Atlantic towards New England, spreading fear and panic before himself. Well, not really, this one will probably deliver not much more than some heavy rain and high winds, along with coastal flooding from the storm surges at high tides.

The pairing of the two came about after reading this article;
Battle Brewing Over Command Authority
(subscription required)from the National Journal’s Congress Daily. Which says; “A Pentagon proposal to give the federal government greater authority to mobilize and command Army, Air Force Navy and Marine Corps Reserve units during domestic disasters and emergencies is on a collision course with National Guard boosters on Capitol Hill who favor giving governors tactical control over those federal military forces and Guard troops.” There has been for many years arguments over the role of the Federal Army, the National Guard, the Reserves and the concept of States Militias and who they are which determines what they can do.

The fact that civil emergencies occur on an all to frequent basis has led to an increasing role at the federal level in these local events. More properly the venue of the states governors, the federal agencies such as FEMA, DHS, DOD & etc. continue to stick their salesman’s shoes further and further into the doorways as states continue to request more and more assistance. This has led to an ever increasing probability that the state Guard units being nationalized and brought under the control of not the state governor, but the federal level instead. Generally, this means that the director of FEMA, with the co-direction of the Secretary of Defense would have the ability to order the National Guard to bend to its wishes. This isn’t necessarily a good thing for the states.

The control over these State National Guard units, while involved in state exercises’, such as hurricane disaster assistance properly belongs to the Governor of that state. Only by nationalizing these units can the federal government control them. And under the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, these troops are prohibited from acting by way of enforcing any laws of this nation. So, to gain control over the population then the laws of the land will need to be either repealed, changed, and/or suspended, correct?

Well, take a look at some of these Executive Orders;

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.

There are many more references out there but these are from here, a site discussing the 911 review, by a Harry Martin. It’s an interesting read, you should check it out. But the bottom line here is that by taking incremental steps, our government can in fact horde us to wherever they want, an separate us into whatever groups they wish to sort us into. They can even seize our property and relocate to the other side of the country. With no recourse available on our part.

I have no link for Executive order 11310 for a reason, that being it was revoked by Executive order #12656 on November 18, 1988 by Ronald Reagan. There’s a lot of information floating around with these orders, as well as a slew more that I haven’t had time to digest, but I’d say things aren’t as rosy here in the heartland as one would like to believe. If I ever get around to reading the hundreds and hundreds of pdf’s that make up the governmental body of work, maybe I’ll come to a complete understanding.

To get back to the article, the next paragraph says; “The proposal was drafted as a possible amendment to the fiscal 2010 defense authorization bill. It would empower the Defense secretary to call federal Reserve forces to active duty for disaster response. Current law prohibits such forces from being activated to respond to natural disasters.”

Why do we need a law allowing state level troops to be used in natural disasters? Doesn’t quite make sense to me. The National Guard can already be used at a states governors discretion, so what gives? As I see it, we have several ongoing actions that will bring the drive to permit our “kingdom” to become subjected to the beast. There is the fact that the military now has what is called the Northern Command, who is developing a cadre of military units trained to deal and respond to many different scenarios that would allow any one of the above executive orders to come into play.

According to sources, “Unlike other military commands, NORTHCOM is designed to operate in support of civil authorities, usually state governors, depending on the nature and extent of the support being provided. But the deployment of troops at home has been a complicated legal issue.” A new kind of military? And once the legal issues have been solved, will the federal authorities e able to use federal troops to complete the requirement imposed in Rev 17:17? Think about the implications and how they relate to these times.
